BIOGRAPHY PM. KOMA
Giovane artista, Petulia Mattioli in arte pm.Koma nasce a Roma il 5-11-1969.
Frequenta l'Istituto Europeo del Design di Roma e Milano, dove si diploma nel 1992.
Lavora come grafica e illustratrice a Milano. Nel1994 fonda, insieme al musicista Eraldo
Bernocchi, Verba Corrige Productions, un centro di produzione artistica e musicale che si
basa sull'interazione totale tra Arte e Musica
Dal 1994 ad oggi realizza opere multimediali installate "dal vivo su palco" e
copertine di dischi/cd come artista visiva e graficaper artisti e collaboratori come:
Eraldo Bernocchi, Mick Harris, Laswell, Monaci Tibetani e Sigillum S, Reeno, Giovanni
Lindo Ferretti, Afa, Scisma, Francesca Lago, Wolfango in Italia, Stati Uniti, Canada,
Germania, Francia.
Uno spazio alternativo per collaborare ed interagire con altri linguaggi e forme
artistiche.
Nel 1998 vince la selezione della Commissione Nazionale del Progetto Giovani in
collaborazione con il GAI, Giovani Artisti Italiani, quindi partecipa con una sua opera
alla mostra ArtiVisive 2 organizzata dal Comune di Genova presso Palazzo
Ducale.
E' tra i dieci artisti segnalati dalla critica in occasione della Biennale dei
Giovani Artisti.
1999 realizza il nuovo logotipo per l'Ente Giovani Artisti Italiani - GAI.
Nel 2000 crea Temporary_Vision®, una divisione di Verba Corrige Production, che si occupa
di grafic design, comunicazione e multimedia.

Petulia Mattioli lavora
all'immagine reale così come a quella virtuale realizzando video e installazioni, dove le
due
dimensioni interagiscono e si fondono.
La volontà è quella di collaborare con ed interagire con con altre forme d'Arte
senza precludere alcun tipo di espressione ed esperienza. Dal video/televisione e
multivisione alla grafica-tipografica; dalla fotografia alla materia come il ferro, la
plastica, il vetro, la carne, l'acqua... il concetto sceglie la propria forma per essere

ENGLISH BIOGRAPHY:
Young artist, Petulia Mattioli aka KOMA
was born in Rome - Italy on November 5, 1969.
She studied at the European Institute of Design in Rome and in Milan where she graduaded
with cum laude in 1992.
In 1994 she founded together with the musician and producer Eraldo Bernocchi the Verba
Corrige Production project, based on the total interaction between Art and Music. Since
1992 she realized light design and multimedial installations exhibited live on stage
; also graphic design for album sleeve for musicians and groups like: Eraldo
Bernocchi, Mick Harris, Laswell, Monaci Tibetani e Sigillum S, Reeno, Giovanni Lindo
Ferretti, Afa, Scisma, Francesca Lago, Wolfango Italy, Germany, France, United States and
Canada.
In 1998 she wins the Arti Visive 2 National Competition and shows her installations at the
Palazzo Ducale of Genova exibition.
On the occasion of the Biennale Giovani Artist she is one of the ten artists who has been
notified from the critic.
2000 she founded "temporay_vision®" a Verba Corrige Production division that is
about
graphic design and multimedia.
The aim is to collaborate and interact with
other forms of
Art without baring any kind of expression and experience.
KOMA as work is contaminated by all the elements that are
characterizing this ending century, from the video/
television and multivision to the graphic design and the
photography, to the raw material as iron, plastic, glass ,
meat, water,...
The concept takes its own shape and dress to be represented.
